Moko /mo̞.ko̞/

Asemoko Tayochu /ase̞mo̞ko̞ tajo̞t͡ɕu/

"To walk this path is to suffer. To sacrifice…"

Moko was originally described by alphy as a "mask" it wore while playing Final Fantasy XIV in-character. This became less and less true over time until Moko and her Esteem, Kakyu, split off into their own selves.

Moko is the bit of alphy that is driven by external purpose. She craves being helpful and useful. This is informed by Final Fantasy XIV's Dark Knight quests, especially the levels 30 through 50 arc. Moko will do whatever she can to help others. This used to be to the detriment of the system's body, but Kakyu helped temper that drive.

Moko and Kakyu typically front as a pair, as Kakyu is Moko's headmate in-source. They are also romantically involved. When Moko is the one talking out of the pair, she sometimes fidgets with the phantom sensation of her Dragoon weapon, a Chromite Spear she named Fang. Her speaking voice is chipper yet stilted; she's generally unsure of how to talk to people or present herself if she's not offering help with some task.

Moko and Kakyu, as Final Fantasy XIV player character introjects, are in a position where things alphy wrote and writes about them are regarded as fact to them. For this reason, Moko and Kakyu permanently have two separate bodies, with a shared mind and soul, after the events of Endwalker.
