After the release of Splatoon 3, alphy immediately focused on the single-player story mode, Rise of the Mammalians, as the octoling it designed. Because of the emotional response to some of the story beats within the campaign, alphy had an inkling that someone new was swimming around in its system. It wasn't until the finale that Cyan made herself fully known.
Cyan has elements of both Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion's Agent 8 and Splatoon 3's Agent 3, including memories of some of their experiences. She has a lust for life, and is extremely outgoing and extroverted. She also has a jovial competitive spirit, thriving in Turf War and ranked Anarchy matches. She's also keen to listen to music and dance. Her favorite bands are Turquiose October and Off the Hook, and she's fostering an interest in Dedf1sh.
Within the world of Splatoon, she fancies herself a semi-professional Turf War player, making enough money to keep a roof over her head, a cup of coffee in her hand, and a concert ticket in her wallet.
